August 2024 Jordan Times

Director

Laura McClung

Hello from the topside of Kansas – Goodland Kansas! I am excited that I have set a goal and reached it. Director!

My husband (of 39 years) Gary and I have 4 awesome children – Ana 37 (& husband Mark), Jonathan 34, Jonah 27, and Ashtin 21, along with 7 granddogs. After many years of following our Children on their many adventures – 4-H, FFA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, DECA, just to name a few, it’s time for me to travel my adventure. I am a retired Public Adult Librarian, 25 years, I made a transition 3 years ago to working along with my husband in our family business of selling and servicing appliances, and I am now –“The Lady in the Office”

My best friend, Julie Crow, asked me to come and watch Nancy on a Zoom demo one evening and asked if I would like to join her in selling Jordan Essentials. That was January 2022. We love to work together doing vendor events, traveling, and of course going to Jordanvention. I started with the Magnesium lotion for nighttime leg cramps and it wasn’t long before our shelves were lined up with every Jordan Essential product. My favorite thing about being a Jordie – is when someone comes to me and wants more products because the small amount they ordered worked. I like to tell everyone –“Jordan Essentials is awesome in the bottle but It doesn’t work unless you use it and use it every day.”

Working with an exceptional team is a true honor and privilege. We collaborate not only in business but also in our personal growth journeys. Since joining JE in April, I have been promoted to Director the following month, and I am eager to share the opportunities that direct sales offers. I have a passion for matching people with products that bring value to their lives, and I have been doing so since the age of 11. I am fortunate to have my best friend and husband Alan, and we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary with an Alaskan cruise, next month. We are blessed with an amazing 16-year-old son, Sorren, who continuously impresses us with his talents. As a family, we value our local food system and enjoy our farm, animals, and gardens. We also appreciate traveling and experiencing the beauty of God's creation. I am grateful to have such a supportive community around me.

This past month I’ve been very blessed by my amazing customers, hosts and events. Getting ready for JV, the Salt Sale, a couple vacations.. it’s been a little crazy but super FUN! I was out of town more than I was in town and that is why I love this business! I can work from wherever I’m at. I travel every 6 months with one of my boys to have braces made in Salt Lake City, I’m not trying to put in for time off and get it approved. I’m my own boss and when I need to do something or want to go someplace, I just go:)

I believe Follow Up and Consistency are key to higher sales. I’m a HUGE FAN of our Dead Sea Salts. I’m always sampling them out for people to try them! It’s a smaller population that take baths, but if you talk about them enough and share them, you will find your crowd!

I feel like if you have a contagious happy attitude you will attract both sales and more teammates. Be a MAGnet!! Attract both!! Magnify your life!!

Welcome to the Jordan Essentials Family!

So many new Jordies!!

As we move into an exciting new chapter of growth and success, I am thrilled to welcome all our new team members who have joined us on this incredible journey. At Jordan Essentials, we believe in empowering individuals to create their own paths to success, and I am truly grateful to have each of you as part of our family.

Over the past few weeks, months, and 4 years, we have experienced remarkable growth, and it’s all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our amazing consultants. Our vision has always been to make a positive impact on people’s lives by offering safe, effective, and affordable wellness products. With your help, we can continue to turn this vision into reality and bring hope and healing to even more families.

As we welcome new members to the Jordan Essentials community, it is important to ensure they feel supported and prepared to succeed.

Here are five ways to welcome a new team member and help them start strong:

  1. Personalized Welcome Message: Reach out to new team members with a warm, personalized welcome message. Share your excitement for them joining the team and let them know you’re here to support them every step of the way. A personal touch can make a big difference in making someone feel valued and part of the community.

  2. Introduction to the Team: Arrange a virtual or in-person meeting to introduce the new member to the rest of the team. Encourage everyone to share a little about themselves, fostering a sense of camaraderie and connection. Building relationships early on helps new members feel more comfortable and supported.

  3. Set Clear Goals: Work with the new team member to set clear, achievable goals for their first few months. Discuss what they hope to achieve and how you can assist them in reaching their objectives. Setting expectations and providing guidance can help them focus on the right actions to succeed.

  4. Provide Training and Resources: Direct new members to our Consultant Toolbox in Jordan Essentials University (JEU), which includes step-by-step success guides tailored for new Jordies. These resources are designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in their new roles.

  5. Offer Continuous Support: Encourage ongoing communication and be available to answer questions, offer advice, and provide feedback. Let them know you’re invested in their success and willing to support them as they navigate their new journey. Regular check-ins can help address challenges early and reinforce their confidence.

Together, we can create an empowering and supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to flourish. Our growth is fueled by the passion and dedication of each team member, and I am excited to see what we will accomplish together.

Thank you for being a part of the Jordan Essentials family. Your commitment to our mission inspires us every day. Let's continue to work together, support each other, and make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Here’s to a bright and prosperous future!

Essentially Yours,

Nanc
