I joined Jordan Essentials a little over a year ago just for the discount and to have that human touch again after transitioning to a work from home model at my job. I honestly had no interest in much more than that but something sparked! When I started talking about our products to friends and family I just became more and more excited to share it with any and everybody I met! Vendor events are my jam and home parties are such a nice break from my day to day where even though I'm "working" I'm enjoying myself and then it's not really work right?

I love that I can pay some bills & get product at a great price but what I love even more is to see others get that spark when they hit a goal or find a product they just have to have. It really makes being a Jordie so worth it!!!

I love sharing Jordan with others! I have always said that I want to stand outside of pain clinics and not take away what their doctors have asked them to but to add another tool in the belt, try the Magnesium Lotion, try the Sticks, try the Helio. I really think that people could add a healthy alternative to their regiment. I think of sharing the opportunity with others as a way to tell the whole world about JE. I know that it sounds crazy, but we are only one person, I can only tell so many. If I share with somebody the opportunity we learn to multiple ourselves and in turn we start growing a team, and we start Rising! Let's RISE!

Seriously, when Cindy reached out about being top in Sales in June, I was shocked! I love Sponsoring, but in sharing the opportunity you may get turned down and hear a few No's, so then in turn I ask, "Do you need anything from JE this week?" I guess it's easier for people to say YES to buying something then it is to joining your tribe?! lol I also try to do get out in front of people as often as possible. I do worked around 35 hours at home babysitting my grands and have two young boys still at home, so with 6 kids under 13, I don't work during those hours but make use of the evenings in between ball games and practices (don't you love making your own hours!) doing parties, one on one's, Farmers Markets, and vendor events. But my favorite money (yes, I did say MONEY) making activity is helping my team grow. Seeing them win, whatever their goal is, is what I want them to achieve. We Rise, but lifting others! Rise JE, see YOU at JordanVention!

Summer is cooking and so are we!  Warning Penny the Pig Story

As many of you know we have a mini Pig named Penny we adopted last summer. She will be one on July 8th! I have no idea how much she weighs at the time of the writing because I am in denial (please do not ask me). She is a sweet pig and is a unique creature. She is very smart as pigs are known to be some of the most intelligent animals. She lives life her own way and I think we can learn a lot from Penny.

Be pig headed about certain things. Penny knows what she wants to do and what she does not. We had to learn a move called "Move the pig" and stand with authority to get her to move. It works but that girl knows where she wants to go like the clover in the FRONT yard not back yard and it is hard to stop a motivated pig.

Set boundaries. Penny likes to go to bed at 7:30 pm in her apartment in the basement. This is not negotiable. She needs her beauty rest. We know when we choose to do things we should not do that risk our health and wellbeing. Be like Penny and take care of yourself.

Be choosy about your friends.  Penny has "friends"  It took a while for the cat, Lucy and dog, Corkie, to realize when we got her at 3 pounds she was not food. Penny felt they were family right away. Her eyesight is not very good so I do not recommend walking into our backyard unless she has met you and knows your voice. We can be choosy about our friends we let close to us. I love so many people and I love people right away. It is a great reason for someone like me to start a direct sales company. Over the years I have learned there are people I can let into the "yard" and know their voice as my closest confidants and cherish those relationships.

Be about the mission. Penny gets up each morning on a mission to eat as much clover in our backyard and get as many belly rubs as she can. She can whine, grunt, push and work toward that mission all day and there is not stopping her.

What is stopping you? Do you know your daily mission? Do you need to do your JE jobs to make money to feed your family, save for vacation, build a nest egg or even buy gas for the card? Be pig headed and be about the mission each day.

Happy Birthday Penny
Believe and Succeed,
Nanc

Earn as You Learn and Learn as You Grow

One of the many things I love about direct selling is that it really is for anyone. It is an industry that embraces those who love to share, learn, and grow. No special training is needed to start a business and begin to earn an income. You just need a passion for products and to make a difference for yourself, your family, your friends, and those around you.

June and July have been and will be busy months. The $10 join special has opened Jordan Essentials to a whole new crop of Jordies! Many current Jordies are harvesting from seeds planted weeks, months and even years ago.

If you are a new Jordie who jumped in – Welcome! You are not alone. You have joined a community of supportive, like-minded individuals who support you in reaching your personal goals. No goal is too big or too small!

Along with the person who introduced you to Jordan Essentials, we have a wealth of training and support materials to guide you along the way. But…the great thing about direct selling is you don’t have to know it all before you start!

Start with what you know! You know about a product you love. You know why you joined. Sharing those simple things are more powerful than memorizing ingredients or the compensation plan.

Each day you can learn a little more. New Jordies receive a series of emails and there is a path in JE University designed for new consultants with the basic information to help you grow in knowledge.

Monday Night Live, Community Classes and Friday Lunch & Learns offer more ways to learn and earn!

As confidence grows, so does your team! Don’t be afraid to share the opportunity. We got you covered there too! Your team will have the same resources you do. They have YOU as an amazing sponsor, your upline and Success Coach (Director) to answer questions and lead the way.

Share your passion, share your goals and reach for your dreams. We are here to support you every step of the way!

This was an amazing Jordan Essentials year, and I can’t wait to celebrate the achievements at JV later this month! I look forward to meeting so many of you in person, and connecting with those who are able to join us online. It’s going to be so much fun!

This past week, my teenage son spent an entire day creating a project on his computer. He ran into some difficulties, and the entire thing was deleted! I felt so bad because I knew how much effort he put into creating his artwork …. but he turned to me and said, “That’s OK, I can just redo it. Now it’s going to be better than before!” And he was right- his next design was more wonderful!

As we begin a new year with JE, this is a great attitude to have! Starting off fresh gives you the opportunity to begin again, and hit those goals. You are at zero- but so is everybody else! Somebody once said, “Don’t be afraid to start over… this time you’re not beginning from scratch, you’re starting from experience”. If you’re not sure how to take that first step, reach out to your upline and/or Director- they would love to help you make a plan, to set you up for success! Imagine where you could be at Jordanvention next year, and how great it will be celebrating everything you accomplish!

After interviewing Nancy for an article about cultures of successful direct selling companies, I was intrigued. Jordan Essentials sounded like the type of company where the focus was authenticity, growth and connection—what a wonderful combination! So as I wrapped up my latest book projects, I reached out to her to see if she thought I might be a fit for JE’s current growth trajectory.

I specialize in creating field development strategies, help strengthen leadership in existing and emerging field leaders, build out robust training, adapt key best practices to suit company cultures, and help establish and develop stronger cultures within teams and companies. I was the primary ghost writer for Direct Selling for Dummies by Wiley Publishing (and just wrapped up the technical editing for the updated version) and created the outline for the best-selling book Real Leadership.

After conversations with Nancy and Marian, as well as a 3-hour face to face interview that included sharing our passion for helping women be all they can be, Nancy offered me the opportunity to work with Jordies on leadership development and growth strategies. I couldn’t be happier!

I’m looking forward to meeting you at JordanVention. In the meantime, I hope you’ll connect with me on Facebook.
