November 2021 Jordan Times

Associate Director

Hi, Im Melissa Goeddertz from a tiny town in south east Texas. First let me say how I'm overwhelmed by the genuine congratulations by Jordan Essentials for achieving this promotion. I can't say thank you enough.

Melissa Goeddertz
Associate Director

I work full time as a caregiver for the elderly. I love what I do, but its a sad job. I joined the direct sales world to bring some joy in my life amid the sadness. I have a couple different ventures, but I focus my main attention on Jordan Essentials which I joined in January this year.

The sisterhood has been wonderful, and at my age its time I started taking better care of myself including my skin. I love that I'm putting healthy products on my skin and the benefits are amazing. The magnesium lotion has helped my leg cramps so much!

I love sharing about this made in the USA company with others and hearing their testimonies. I work hard and hard work pays off, but I couldn't do this by myself. I am grateful for my team, that without them their would be no promotion. We are small but mighty. I also want to thank my upline, 2 diamond director Angie Schmid for all the hours spent coaching and encouraging. It truly takes a village. And if a country bumpkin like myself can do this so can anyone else!! Now on to continuing to work hard for bigger and better things to come!

I’ve been in direct sales for 14 years and for the first 6 or 7, sponsoring was not something I did very well. I really wanted to though. What I came to realize is, it is something that can be learned. I talked with those around me who were sponsoring, listened, learned and tried. I heard some no’s, not now’s, and received some yes’s! I learned that being ‘pushy’ is not a concern. It’s a perspective that was in my own head as a roadblock. I truly make it about the other person. Is it a match? Is what we offer what they are looking for? That holds true today. I just keep offering. Why? I believe in the direct sales industry. I’ve seen so many lives changed for the better in so many ways. There is truly a place for everyone here at Jordan Essentials for whatever reason someone decides to join us. When it’s a match, it’s a match that lasts! Learning how to close a conversation and learning that the answers are in the questions was my biggest valuable lesson. We all have great training and support in our sponsors, upline Directors and our home office team. If sharing the opportunity is something you’d like to do, reach out. It can be learned! While our Magnesium is amazing, our best product we have is the business kit and the potential it represents for the person who purchases it. That’s making a difference!

I positively love the products at Jordan Essentials! I can’t help but to share the awesomeness that come with using the DSS, essential oils or skin relief to just name a few of my favorites. When I hear from my customers about how they are being helped by using the products it just warms my heart. I honestly believe that by helping people it helps me. The more people I can talk to about our products the happier I am. Christmas season is upon us and I am telling all my customers about give JE as gifts this year. Asking them to help their friends and family by giving them healthier products. If just one person feels better because they got to try our products than that is my Christmas gift to myself!

One of the best things about November is the mind shift to gratitude and the holidays.

I am a summer gal. I love the heat and daylight of summer. I've always fought the season change and this year I am leaning into gratitude and embracing all the things.

Fear and gratitude cannot live in the same place. Think about what you are grateful for and take the challenge to amp your gratitude game up

  1. Pick 3 people you are truly grateful for and text them your gratitude.

  2. Close your eyes and think of a joyful moment and just feel how that feels. Do your muscles relax and your face lights up with a smile? Gratitude and joy really like each other.

  3. When something tough happens try to find something to be grateful for.

Are you grateful to know there is an issue? Grateful for the people who help you though a tough time?

Make November more than a sales season. Make it all about gratitude for your team, products, hosts, and customers. We are so much more than our amazing products. We are the Jordan Nation and I am so grateful for each of you

Believe and succeed,
Nanc

Building Holiday Sales

Believe it or not, we are in the middle of the holiday shopping season. Trends are showing people started their holiday shopping earlier than ever before this year. And, they are shopping for purposeful and personal products again this year.

Here are five tips to keep you on-trend and to build your holiday sales.

  1. Send holiday cards NOW! Be the first to reach their mailbox with your season’s greeting. Leave out the coupons and the sales pitch. Make it personal. This will go a long way with customers.

  2. Create Customer and/or Host Appreciation parties. The personal touch wins again. Offer exclusive fun and games to recognize past customers and hosts. (This means it probably is not taking place in your VIP group. Try a fun option like ZOOM.)

  3. Make gift giving easy! Share product recommendations for those hard-to-buy for people like teachers – who already have plenty of coffee mugs, bus drivers, and neighbors. Offer suggestions at price points such as $10, $15 and $25. Include why these are great gifts too! Think about having a series of lives showcasing each price point of gifts. Or have a ZOOM event with a focus on gift purchasing. (Think about Nancy’s Community Class this month! Promote it with personal invitations.)

  4. Upsell for savings! When a customer is choosing one or two items, show how a collection gives them more value. Customers looking at a Basic Collection may not know the Premium Collection is a great saving and can be separated into extra gifts.

  5. Yes! Jordan Essentials does shipping directly to the recipient with a GIFT RECEIPT! Two perfect options are the Happy Feet Collection and the Frankincense Gift Collection. Both come packaged in gift bags and are ready to enjoy!

Apply these tips to make the most of your holiday season and help your friends, family and customers gift products that are practical, purposeful, pampering and Made in the USA too!
