WOW! What an exciting way to start a New Year!  And the first director in Brooklyn, NY! I started with Jordan Essentials 5 years ago at the end of July 2018.  My journey has been incredible. I never thought that I would have a Director title.

While my goal was to start using healthier skin products and create an income, the past few years have offered much more. The support and friendships with team members, the incentives and recognitions are wonderful! I love sharing the products with everyone I meet, and it makes me feel happier when they can have a better day because of it.
I am so glad that Karen Simpson was persistent in offering me this opportunity.  She is a great leader that is always so helpful and supportive.

And to my team – Thank you since this would not have been possible without all of you!

Director

Kathryn Collier

I spent most of my adult life teaching riding lessons, training horses and competing in the Dressage world. But I had to change my career choice after a diagnosis that left me unable to continue with that business. I needed to find something to give me a sense of accomplishment, something to be passionate about, and that would give me purpose. I also needed something I could do from home and that I could work around illness, if necessary. It was a struggle to find the right thing. But on July 25, 2021 I found Jordan Essentials!

I was first introduced by Karen Simpson while vendoring across from one another. I was with another Direct Selling Company. I fell in love with the Magnesium lotion! I struggle with restless legs and other foot and leg issues. That night I used the lotion and slept through the night for the first time in about thirty years! I was off and running, wanting to help everyone I could find who struggled with restless legs!

I knew right away that I wanted to promote. I have always been a leader and always like helping people. I also have unfulfilled dreams of travel with my husband, so wanted to make a great income! So while making plenty of early mistakes, I jumped on every zoom and training possible and put consistent daily team building habits to work. It hasn’t happened overnight for me. I had a goal of getting to Director in one year. I didn’t make that goal, but at about that one year mark, I learned a valuable lesson.

To get there, I needed to quit thinking about getting myself to Director and start thinking more about how to help my customers and team members get what they needed and wanted! Every time I have had great gratification or success in life, it has been when it’s less about me and more about others. I believe that’s when and how Direct Marketing works best. When you have a product that makes an important difference, and you are determined to use it to serve and help others.

I am proud to have met this “goal” of Director.

And I plan to promote again.

But I am most proud of the personal and team growth that I have been a part of the last two years by helping others feel better and helping my team experience THEIR victories!

And I’m proud to be a part of this big Jordan Essentials Family, where empowering others is a main goal!

So what to say about being Top in Sponsoring.

"I have been a part of Jordan Essentials now 2 1/2 years.  My business started with great family and friends supporting me and getting off to an amazing start.  I still have a handful from the beginning and continue to add all year round.  This past month was about casting my net out wider to those NOT in my immediate circle and "share" Jordan Essentials.  My approach was give it a try and after 3 months see if it is for you as a business or a hobby and we will make a decision at that point.  Of course I got lots of NO's but I did get some YES's and that is what I was going for."

"June is a new month and the beginning of a New Year with Jordan Essentials.  I keep my list of the people I "shared" with and their responses so I can go back and offer again.  Especially when there is a Join Special offered.  "

"Last thing I will say is, no Pre-judging, I offer the business to everyone, especially my customers. While this is Direct Sales many people don't consider themselves sales people. When I ask them to just 'share' the products with their family and friends it is a little easier.  We share other products and services every day, ( books, movies, restaurants, etc.) why not Jordan Essentials?"

Hey Everyone! Jordie Jess here,

What a wild month with our Star Player": the "Bug Box". I knew going into the month it would be great and had my goal set. Let's go! “Whoa, what's going on?” My month started off slow and I wasn't sure what was going on. Sure school was ending and I had a senior graduating. Plus a I had a 4 day event I was doing and was getting ready for.

Week two I was starting to panic and having to really dig deep to see what I could do different. I always do great with my bug spray. I needed to figure out a new plan of attack and not have excuses it's just a factor I need to work around right?  BAM.....Lives, posting more, following up w/ past customers showing people MORE urgency. That's it! ”Whew, I did it.” Over my goal and my TEAM did great too like amazing. By leading by example and telling them my tips and what I was doing. They followed my lead. I got my own personal goal in and helped exceed our team goal and hit title for the 3rd month in a row.

It's not always about being perfect but I know I can be present. We all can.

Lastly, My word of the year is still Value not just in my products but the value (worth) I have to bring to my company/business, my team and customers.

Balancing Home and Life with your Jordan Biz in the Summer Months

I can remember the last bell had rung and I was so happy the 7:30 am runs to school would be over at least for a while.  But now... it was school is out, kids are underfoot and I still had work to do!  As the summer months approach, finding a balance between home responsibilities and running a direct sales business becomes crucial. With kids out of school, vacations to plan, and outdoor activities calling, managing both personal and professional obligations can be challenging. However, with a few strategies in place, you can successfully strike a harmonious balance and enjoy the best of both worlds.

First and foremost, effective time management is key. Create a schedule that accommodates both your home and business needs. Allocate specific blocks of time for your direct sales tasks, such as customer outreach, product videos and shares, or team meetings. Likewise, reserve dedicated slots for family activities, quality time with loved ones, and self-care. By setting clear boundaries and adhering to a schedule, you can ensure that neither aspect of your life overshadows the other.  We had a color-coded calendar on the back door so everyone knew when Mom was working and when we were headed to the pool.

Additionally, leveraging technology can be a game-changer in maintaining balance. Take advantage of tools and platforms that allow you to work remotely or automate certain aspects of your business. Use social media to engage with customers, host virtual parties, or provide updates about your products.  Use the BOARDS app with image sharing or a learning on-the-go tool.  This way, you can work flexibly from anywhere, whether it's at the beach, during a family outing, or in the comfort of your home. Embracing technology not only facilitates convenience but also enables you to maximize your time and make the most of the summer months.

Balancing home and life with your Jordan biz during the summer requires effective time management and embracing technology. By creating a well-structured schedule and making use of online tools, you can efficiently manage your business tasks while still enjoying quality time with your family and taking care of yourself. Remember, finding a balance that works for you is essential to ensure a fulfilling and enjoyable summer season.

Happy Summer,
Nanc
