I love sharing Jordan Essentials!! Our products have been able to help so many of my friends and my family members. I’ve been blessed that our state has allowed a few vendor events this fall, which has allowed me to share JE with even more people. I’ve had a few friends and a few NEW friends that joined in October. Wow, what a fun month! Our team has also been doing Battle of the Hostess parties and online vendor events. I really believe for us to grow our businesses we need to try and work all areas that we can find. One-on-ones, coffee dates, side lines at sporting events, online, VIP group, vendor events. Catalog parties. Specially during these crazy times! Be a light and try to always find the positive (even when so much in the world right now is negative) and hopefully you will find friends that will want to link arms and run with you too! Be blessed friends! Super thankful for JE for giving us this Avenue to be a light with those around us, share some HOPE today!

2020 was of course historic for all of us.

I remember the day and place I was when the President made the announcement. I was in Playa Del Carmen helping a friend out as a guest speaker for her leaders.

Her speaker had fallen ill suddenly and she called me at 7 am on a Tuesday and I was on a plane Thursday.

I do not usually do that sort of thing. I am not even sure what prompted me except I admired this friend and I thought it could help me learn more from other company's leaders and perspectives to become a better leader for you.

I gave my talk in the morning on March 13th and by late afternoon we had heard the news.

Imagine my surprise being in a foreign country, traveling alone, and walking into customs in Dallas with 2,000 other people.

People react to crises and situations differently at different times in their lives. I remember traveling and not being able to get home when the kids were little and almost lost my mind and my sweet personality. This was not one of those occasions. I had just learned how this company was doing mega parties and they shared freely what would become a foundation for us to keep our business going when home spa parties were no longer an option. I felt a sense of calm and purpose. I skirted around the 2,000 people in customs because I had a carry-on and my friend had gifted me a first-class ticket partnered with the Global entry I walked past the stressful crowds. I came home and felt a sense of calm and purpose again. I prayed, I thought about what we could do and the base of it all was the relationship with our leadership that made all of the difference. I was confident in Christ and my Consultants. There are 5 women who are direct to the company for one reason or another. This means they do not have an upline, just me, and company support. All consultants live in the genealogy of one of those women. Tammy Bechtel - 4 Diamond, Gloria Brice - 3 Diamond, Kara Larson - 3 Diamond, Karen Simpson - 4 Diamond, and Peggy Fuerst - Director. I contacted them and asked if they would hold a mega party in a week to keep their teams and businesses going.

They all said yes and off we went arm in arm into the highest and best sales and sponsoring year JE has had in all of her glorious 20 years.

Relationships. Trust. Foundation. I remember thinking in my 30's that I wanted to be more trustworthy. In my 40's I wanted deep and real relationships with like-minded people. Now in my 50's I want to change the world. Think about where you are at today. There is a gap between where you are and where you want to be. We all have it. I am still working on it. What steps will you take to prepare yourself and your life so that when crisis and of course opportunity come your way you are ready? I continue to pray and thank the Lord with gratitude, I continue to be a student, I continue to build relationships because we have Momentum! Won't you hop on board and go with us as we become the household name we have always been meant to be? I hope so.
Happy New Year, dear ones, and cheers to all the amazing adventures that are ahead of us!

Reasons to Attend Jordanvention

This year I will not sound cliche and say “Meeting Makers Make More Money”. I won’t be “Jerry McGuire” and say “Show Me the Money” either. 2020 taught me it isn’t all about the money.

Meetings, like Jordanvention (JV) are about connections - virtual and in-person. They are about being together with like-minded people. They are about a common journey and a common passion. They are about learning the big picture first-hand from the top - like from Nancy Bogart our founder. JV is learning what it means to be a Jordie!

2021 will be a year like no other as we find our new paths, overcome new challenges and reach higher goals than we ever dreamed. Jordanvention makes that all possible.

With that said, here are my five top reasons you need to register for Jordanvention 2021

  1. SEE the big picture and hear Nancy’s vision for Jordan Essentials for the next 20 years

  2. Be motivated and inspired by the stories you hear from other Jordies and their success

  3. Learn tips and new ways of building your business that you can put right into practice that day

  4. Network, connect and meet new Jordies who will become friends and who will change your life

  5. SWAG - yes...great gifts, new products and logo wear you can be proud to share and wear

If you are still undecided, JV is an investment in yourself and your business. It is a way to become “decided” and to move you to the next chapter of your business.

Make the commitment to yourself and to your business. Register today!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2021!  You’ve gotten through the craziness of 2020, and this is your reminder that 2021 is full of empowering possibilities as well and personal and business growth. It can be an exciting time as you look at this year as a blank canvas that can be painted into your own masterpiece by years end.

The start of any painting begins with a plan. It’s creating the exact picture in your mind of what you want on that canvas. It’s a goal that’s laid out into smaller steps, which helps assure success. Great things always begin with SMART goals and there’s no better time to create your own as you ring in this New Year!

SMART is an acronym used to guide you in goal setting.

·  Specific

·  Measurable

·  Achievable

·  Relevant

·  Timely

1) Specific

Your goal for 2021 should be crystal clear. Knowing specifically what you’re working toward will keep you focused and motivated. As you create your goal keep these 5 “w” questions in front of you:

·  What do I want to accomplish this year?

·  Why is this goal important to me?

·  Who else is involved in making this goal a reality?

·  Which constraints could get in my way?

·  When will I accomplish this goal?

Example: You set a goal to reach Director this year. A specific goal could be, “I’m going to learn and apply the skills needed to grow my personal business and team so I can become a Director by August 2021. I will share this goal with my family to get their support, helping them understand how this goal can impact them positively.”

2) Measurable

Having measurable goals is important because it’s your way to keep track of progress. It’s your measuring stick! You’ll know immediately if you’re ahead or behind in reaching your goal and can take action accordingly. They’ll help you stay focused on what’s been accomplished and what still needs to take place. Ask yourself:

·  How much?

·  How many?

·  How will I know when my goal is accomplished?

Example: You could ask yourself how much does your team sales need to increase to be paid at a Directors title. How many more legs are needed to reach your goal. These are insights needed so you know exactly where you need to focus to achieve your goals.

 3) Achievable

Your goal should stretch you, yet be attainable. Setting yourself up for success by creating a realistic, yet challenging goal, will help you to stay in the game, experience joy and continue to reach for it.

Ask yourself:

·  How will I accomplish this goal?

·  Based on my constraints, can I realistically achieve this goal?

Example: Asking yourself how you will reach this goal can lead you to knowing if you need more training in specific areas. Perhaps having an accountability partner will help you stay on track. If you have constraints, what could you let go of to ensure you reach your goal?

4) Relevant

Relevance is about ensuring your goal is worthwhile and that it meets your needs. Think about the following:

·  Does your goal have importance to your future?

·  Will reaching your goal make a positive difference in your life?

Example: Understanding the impact reaching your goal will have is vital to keeping you motivated and inspired. Write down the benefits to yourself and those close to you when you reach your goal. Have fun with this and dream a little, processing how it will feel when you’ve accomplished what you’ve set out to achieve!

5) Timely

Your SMART goal needs a deadline to when you will achieve it. Keeping this date in front of you will create a sense of urgency and help you work towards better time management. A timely goal, when broken down into those bite-sized pieces, answers the following questions:

·  What date will I achieve my goal?

·  What should I do daily to achieve my goal?

·  What should I do 3 months from now? 6 months from now?

Example: Putting an achievement date on paper is the only way to know if you’ve successfully accomplished your mission. Breaking your goal into smaller steps is wise because it will keep your momentum high as your achieve them, and also direct you to areas that might need attention such as additional training, reaching out to help team members, or getting more parties on your calendar. These small steps lead you right up the staircase to your goal! Here’s a great quote by Robert Herjavec, “A goal without a timeline with just a dream.”

Take the time to create your own SMART Goals for 2021, then share them with someone. It could be your upline, someone at Home Office, another Jordie, a spouse or a friend. Whomever you share them with, ask for check in’s. It’s just another way to keep yourself accountable.

Here’s to your success in 2021!

Alex Bogart
