Teresa Villalobos
Associate Director

My name is Teresa Villalobos I have been a Jordie since January 13, 2021. I was not sure I was ready for a new adventure because my last direct sales company closed its doors very suddenly. I said to myself all things are in God's hands. I was then inspired by amazing leader, Angie Schmid, who always had our team's back. I was also inspired by Nancy Bogart, who welcomed us with an open and sincere heart. My biggest inspiration was Mando Marin, my first sponsor of Jordan Essentials. He said to me when I found a new GIG he wanted to know what it was to join me. When I shared Jordan Essentials with him he said where do I sign up. My next 2 sponsors were my brother Antonio and my sister Maria, always big supporters of my previous business. Then there was Ana, another previous team member and lastly my dear friend Maria T. These first 6 sponsors were none like I have ever had. WE all shared the excitement of starting a new adventure together and the feeling of making a difference and offering a product that is going to change the lives of our family and friends. That was quite powerful for me and motivated me to continue to share and sponsor. The following month, February, I sponsored 7 and my team sponsored 4. And in March I sponsored 4 and my team sponsored 5.

I am truly humbled to be in the top 10 for sponsoring this month and proud to share the spotlight with Maria Torres who is on my team and made this list as well.

I am so proud of my entire team and what Jordan Essentials has to offer.

Get out there and SHARE this amazing Gift we have, don't be afraid. I truly believe I am in the right place, and with Jordan Essentials WE can change someone's life financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I say this because I am changed and I want to bring as many people I can with me.

Thank you

Teresa

I have had a myriad of emotions this month – Incredible excitement and anticipation to disappointment and frustration.

We were so excited to launch our new website and back-office software.  We had spent months planning, testing, and preparing. Then, launch day came, things did not go as planned.

Has that ever happened to you?

The emotions flow don't they? Like an endless stream!

After 21 years in business, I have learned to handle things a little differently than most, so I can live a life a little differently than most.

I am not very proud to share this next story with you, but here it goes. There I was 20 years old and getting married to my best friend.  I was young, full of hopes and dreams. I was not a bridezilla (although my Mom had a "plan" and do not get in her way when she has a "plan”) but I was young and emotions tended to be unbridled. The big day went well.  Ron and I were married and headed on our honeymoon in Jamaica. Excited to start our life together. One of my bridesmaids was supposed to pack my makeup bag and take it from the church to the car after the wedding so I could put it in my suitcase for the flight the following day. The next day, we land in sunny Jamaica and no makeup bag. I am not sure what happened, but I lost it.  Yep, right there with my cute little honeymoon shorts and a flower in my hair, I lost it.  I was livid. I was so angry at my friend I did not speak to her again for an awfully long time.

Fast forward 32 years, I handle things differently when they do not go as planned. Our website launch did not go as planned! Software for our new future was bumpy from the party portal to shipping black holes to reports gone awry.

Now, I have learned to handle “bumps” differently:

 1. I get excited about what possibly could come from the calamity.  (Seriously on a honeymoon in Jamaica and I was not a Jordie, girl get some new makeup!)

2. I give people the best explanation for their behavior! (My friend told me later someone else said they would do it and she just let it go. I almost ruined an amazing friendship.)

Other top tips for handling lives little missteps.

3. I look for opportunities, they truly are everywhere.

4. I look for good people to help me process. (Seriously the culture of our IT company in a miss-step had ownership and correction.)

5. I look for good people to help provide support and solutions.

6. I trust the process.

7. I remind myself of the good things and who and where I am in life.  (We still had amazing high sales March and our Jordies are the best people on the planet.)

8. I remind myself God is never going to drop me and He always provides. (He made a promise 21 years ago and He continues to be our provider.)

So, when you find yourself frustrated, take a step back.  Young Nancy almost ruined her honeymoon with anger.  Older Nancy, wiser Nancy,  knows the team is working hard and we have an AMAZING new IT program forming!

Blessings,
Nanc

Let’s Get Out There!

117335288_335647744128999_5367462673018300992_o (1).jpg

April is one of my favorite months! Living in Seattle for 35 years, April started to give way to less than gray skies and incredible spring flowers. In Wisconsin, for the past 2 years, it gives way to bright blue skies, sprigs of green and a lessening chance of freezing rain and snow! In either place…April shouts “Let’s Get Out There!”

This year, getting out there has taken on even more meaning. If you are like me…2020 planners were not well utilized…but 2021 is different! New habits, new growth and new business!

We are finally coming out of our COVID hibernation and seeing friends and family – even if still from a safe distance! Our “Let’s Get Out There” challenge is about embracing the ways we can get out there and talk with people and share Jordan Essentials!

Read the squares and plan your April sharing. Look at your calendar and see what is happening in your life. Then, mix and match virtual sharing, personal sharing and group sharing with your “best business partner” – Your Calendar!

Prepare Now for a Strong April:

· Plan for the month and order Highlight Mailers and Samples now. Use them for your “Sample & Shares”, “One-on-One Shares”, and Vendor Events.

· Be sure your Profile Image and Story are posted on your website for sharing it with 20 people, in a “Vendor Blender”, and on the Mega Party.

· Reach out to close friends, family and past hosts who are ready to visit and pamper at an in-home spa bar

Make it point to do one square a week. If you do one a week in April & reach your 400 PV, you will earn the first prize. Challenge yourself to do 2 a week & reach your 400 PV and you will earn both prizes and have a fully covered card…be entered for the grand prize drawings….and have started your spring business strong.

Marian
